Japanese 400 Day Honeymoon Around the World Filmed with Drone

A Japanese couple, Kaz, 26, and Mariko Yamaguchi, 34, from Kyoto recently shared their unique honeymoon by visiting 48 countries in 400 days recorded with a drone. Using a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced drone was a great idea as it not only captured the amazing landscapes it also bonded them with the locals they encountered on their journey.

Some of the places the couple visited include the United Arab Emirates, China, Laos, Ethiopia, Peru, Vietnam, Patagonia, the Amazon, Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, Botswana’s Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, the Rock of Guatapé in Colombia, and Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia.

They budgeted around $66,000 for the trip and so far has also covered two drone replacements after losing the first drone on a mountain in Norway and crashed a second one in a canyon in Namibia. The third one was bought in South Africa.
